==Welcome to the Dyson Sphere Program's Wiki!==


Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.


You play as a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing [[Dyson_Sphere|Dyson Spheres]] (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?

==But where's the content?==
The game just released on January 21st, 2021 and with it the NDA's and embargos on sharing information about the game. We are now working hard to add content as quickly as we can, but we're also trying to verify it against game updates that have happened in the past few weeks. With that said, any good wiki grows based on the contributions of its readers, so if you see something lacking, go ahead and pitch in! We'd really appreciate the help! If you want to help out but don't know where to start, Take a look at [[DSP_Wiki:Plan]] for our roadmap, and [[DSP_Wiki:How_to_help]] for ways to help no matter what your experience level!


==About DSP Wiki==
DSP Wiki is a player-run, player-organized wiki dedicated to the video game "[https://store.steampowered.com/app/1366540/Dyson_Sphere_Program Dyson Sphere Program]". DSP Wiki is not affiliated with or endorsed by the game's creators, Youthcat Studio, or its publisher Gamera Game.


DSP Wiki is privately hosted on a multi-project server. Those other projects cover the server costs, and thus DSP Wiki will remain advertisement-free for the foreseeable future. Privately hosting DSP Wiki, as opposed to using a free service such as Fandom, permits us to keep the software up to date, and maintain full control over features.


There are many changes still to come for the Wiki, such as setting up Categories for articles, a new custom Skin (color theme / layout), and tackling a couple of remaining bugs. Look forward to these changes and more in the coming weeks. That is, unless the game is released early and all of our time goes to playing it instead!
