* It is easy to overlook the fact that the "better" recipe using the rare [[Fractal Silicon]] takes twice as long to make. Since this version is made in an Assembler, most of that extra time can be recovered by using Assembling Machine Mk.III's, but it will still take a little longer than if made the traditional way.

Crystal Silicon
Material
Obtain a spectrally pure silicon crystal after the High-purity silicon is melted and passed through a strong electric field at a certain speed, which can further remove the ionic impurities dissolved therein. Crystal silicon has almost no crystal defects and is mainly used to make some ultra-high-precision optical instruments.
