*As shown in the Production Progression Chart, 69 Smelters and 54 Assembling Machines are needed to produce 2 Super-Magnetic Rings per second at 100% efficiency. However, half of that (35 smelters and 54 assemblers) produce 1 per second at about 99% efficiency, with only one single smelter making magnets at half efficiency.
*You can ignore the extra magnets in the production chart as it only means that one of every 38 smelters will work at half speed.
*Super-Magnetic Rings have a very complicated production process, but are an important mid-game and late-game material, as they are required for both [[Conveyor Belt Mk.III|Conveyor Belts Mk.III]] and [[Deuteron Fuel Rod|Deuteron Fuel Rods]] (which are in turn necessary for [[Small Carrier Rocket|Small Carrier Rockets]] to build [[Dyson Sphere|Dyson spheres]]).
