While it is theoretically possible to substitute [[Stone]] for [[Silicon Ore]] when producing [[Processor]]s, due to the inefficiency, it is highly impractical to support full-rate production with [[Stone]], as it would add the requirement for 4800 [[Stone]] per minute to be delivered to some 80 [[Smelter]]s just to produce the [[Silicon Ore]] for production of 60 [[Processor]]s. It is thus advisable to set up [[Processor]] production lines near sufficient [[Silicon Ore Vein]]s to maintain production rates. |

Be prepared to construct large-scale Processor production, especially in the endgame when constructing a Dyson sphere, as they are needed to for both the Quantum Chips and Dyson Sphere Components required to construct Small Carrier Rockets.
- Due to their fantastic logistic compression rate (Shipment Volume) it can be very worthwhile to actually locate Processor production on Silicon rich planets, instead of importing ore or even High Purity Silicon.
