Deuteron Fuel Rods are essential for Dyson sphere construction since they are part of the Carrier Rocket recipe. To produce them in adequate quantity can result in gigantic demands of Deuterium. This is why it is a wise decision to build the actual production on a decent Deuterium Giant, and even then a good amount of Fractionators could be required to actually meet demand.
