As the latitude of the Dyson sphere nodes increases, its surface stress distribution will become more complicated and will be more difficult to maintain the balance of its stress system

Summary

This is the only Technology that has multiple levels to research. There are 6 levels total.

Each level gives 15° extra Build space on a Dyson Sphere, starting from its equator and measured in both directions. (For example, the first unlock provides 15 degrees above and 15 degrees below the equator, for a total of 30 degrees latitude buildable area.)

Level 1 costs 2000 of each colored matrix and 360k hashes (+/- 15 degrees latitude build range)
Level 2 costs 3000 of each colored matrix and 540k hashes (+/- 30 degrees latitude build range)
Level 3 costs 4000 of each colored matrix and 720k hashes (+/- 45 degrees latitude build range)
Level 4 costs 5000 of each colored matrix and 900k hashes (+/- 60 degrees latitude build range)
Level 5 costs 6000 of each colored matrix and 1,080k hashes (+/- 75 degrees latitude build range)
Level 6 costs 7000 of each colored matrix and 1,260k hashes (+/- 90 degrees latitude build range)
