Summary

Plane Smelters are advanced smelters which process materials via clarketech rather than application of heat. They work at double the speed of a standard arc smelter and have one of the most demanding recipes in Dyson Sphere Program, being one of only two recipes employing unipolar magnets.

Trivia

Before the introduction of the Advanced Mining Machine, this was the only recipe in game that requires resources from rare veins to make and has no alternative recipe without rare veins (not counting products of Crude Oil, which is considered rare but occurs on the starting planet).
