Player Tips
- For the upgrades that can be researched infinitely, their research consumption increases each time it is researched. This leads to them being considerably more expensive to keep researching, the further you research them.
- It is worth trying for some of the upgrades as soon as possible. The following recommended upgrades do not use matrices or technology unlocks, and can therefore be researched immediately upon starting the game:
- Drive Engine 1 (allows sustained flight, which is faster than walking, but consumes more energy)
- Mecha Core 1 (increases maximum mecha energy storage)
- Universe Exploration 1 (displays symbols for resources and their yields across the planet)
- Energy Core 1 is also extremely useful in the early game (faster mecha recharge rate), but requires the technology Smelting Purification to be researched.
